Why Space?
In recent years, the United States has witnessed a concerning decline in STEM education and proficiency levels. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) reports that only 36% of 12th-grade students in the U.S. are proficient in math, and just 35% are proficient in science (source: NAEP, 2019).

This alarming trend poses a significant challenge for our nation's future workforce and global competitiveness.
At The Cosmic Leap Foundation, we believe that the key to reversing this decline lies in engaging students at an early age with exciting and captivating STEM experiences. By integrating space exploration themes into our curriculums, we provide a unique opportunity for students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep appreciation for the wonders of the universe.
As renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson once said, "When students aren't exposed to the wonders of the universe, their curiosity and desire to learn can be stifled. We need to cultivate their natural sense of wonder and inspire them to explore the limitless possibilities of science and technology".
With your support as a donor or volunteer, we can make a profound impact on the lives of countless students and empower them to reach for the stars.
Join us in our mission to revitalize STEM education and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. Together, we can create a brighter future.
